At Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery in Yarra Valley

In this post, I am gonna share with you guys about how we spent our time in Melbourne for 6 days. It is now summer in Australia. These are our itinenaries:

Day 1: Airport to Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery in Yarra Valley
Why we chose Yarra Valley? Because it is close to our rented accommodation in Mooroolbark.

From Tullamarine Airport to Chocolaterie, it takes about 45 minutes by car. After we collected our rented car, we were starving. So we used Google Maps to search for halal food. So, we came to this halal takeway. Abu Farouk @ Olsen Place, Broadmeadows. There is a mosque near this halal takeaway, but it was closed when we got there.

Since it was afternoon, we searched for the nearest masjid for zuhur & asar prayer. We again used Google Maps and found Broadmeadows Turkish Islamic Cultural Centre and Mosque in Dallas, Victoria.

Finally, after our prayer, only then we managed to continue our journey to Chocolaterie and Ice Creamery in Yarra Valley. I thought there were not many people there, but I was totally wrong. There were crowds of people when we got there. The weather was wonderful although it was a bit chilly (for summer), well, to be honest, I liked it! Here are some of our pictures at the Chocolaterie.

Ice creams...they are suitable for vegetarians

Outside the chocolate shop is the farm. With weather being so nice, it is really perfect for family picnic outside. So, we bought ice creams for the kids and spent our time outside on the farm.

We spent nearly two hours here. It was already 4.30pm and we decided to go to our accommodation in Mooroolbark. Next post is about our rented accommodation.
